Warranty Information

At Down The Line Customs, we stand behind our work and the products we install. Below are the warranty details for our most common services and products.


Window Tint Warranty

All window film comes with a lifetime warranty covering:

  • Installation errors
  • Film failure such as peeling, fading, delaminating, or excessive dirt in the install

Not covered: any customer-caused damage such as knicks, dings, or scratches.

Aftercare:

  • You can roll your windows down immediately after leaving — every window is heat treated.
  • Avoid ammonia-based cleaners, as they can damage the film.
  • Some water or haze may be visible while the film cures. This is normal and will clear up within a week to a month.
  • For windshields, don’t stick anything (radar detectors, GPS, phone mounts) to the glass for about two weeks while it cures fully.

Remote Start Warranty

  • Module: Lifetime warranty. If it ever becomes unprogrammed or stops working, bring it in — no appointment needed. Typically a 5–10 minute fix.
  • Remotes: One-year limited warranty. If your remote is damaged (washed, run over, chewed, etc.), bring back what you can and we’ll replace it — no questions asked.

Wiring Warranty

All wiring installations are done to professional standards. While there’s no specific wiring warranty, if you ever have an issue related to our install, contact us and we’ll make it right on a case-by-case basis.


Aftermarket Accessories

Warranty coverage depends on the manufacturer. For example, AirLift typically offers a lifetime warranty on air bags, with compressors and manifolds varying by model. Check your product documentation or contact us for details.
